Privacy policy

DataDitto uses screenshots you upload to analyse Pokémon GO progress and show it in dashboards, medal tracking and leaderboards.

What DataDitto uses

DataDitto only processes data needed for the app: your DataDitto account details, profile information, uploads, recognised stats and medal progress.

DataDitto does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for targeted advertising.

Children and age requirements

DataDitto is not directed at children under 13. You may not create an account, upload screenshots or use DataDitto if you are under 13.

If you are at least 13 but under 16, you may only use DataDitto with permission from your parent or legal guardian. By creating an account or completing onboarding, you confirm that you meet these age requirements.

DataDitto does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If DataDitto learns that an account belongs to a child under 13, or that a user aged 13-15 is using the service without parent or guardian permission, DataDitto may delete the account, uploads, recognised results and related profile data.

Parents or guardians can contact DataDitto to ask for review or deletion of a child's account or data.

Leaderboards

Leaderboard participation is optional and can be changed in Settings. When you opt in, signed-in DataDitto users may see your trainer name, team and tracked metric values.

If you also opt in to regional leaderboards, DataDitto may use your stored city, region and country to place your profile in regional rankings.

No Pokémon GO login

DataDitto does not ask for your Pokémon GO login, Niantic account details or Pokémon GO password. There is no connection to a Niantic account.

When you sign in with Discord, DataDitto stores your Discord account ID. DataDitto does not request your Discord email address.

When you sign in with Google, DataDitto stores your Google account ID. DataDitto does not request your Google email address.

When you create an account with an email address and password, DataDitto stores that email address and a securely hashed version of your password, and sends a one-time confirmation link to verify the email address.

Control over data

Uploads and derived results are used to make your progress understandable. You stay in control of the screenshots and data you add to DataDitto.
