Do I need a Pokémon GO login or Niantic account? +
No. DataDitto never touches your game login. You sign in with Discord and upload screenshots manually.
Is this affiliated with Niantic or The Pokémon Company? +
DataDitto is an independent, fan-made tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Niantic, The Pokémon Company, Nintendo or Game Freak.
What screenshots are supported right now? +
DataDitto currently focuses on English trainer profile screenshots and medal screenshots. It reads stats such as distance walked, Pokémon caught, PokéStops visited, total XP and supported medal values. More languages can be added over time based on feedback and demand.
How accurate is the OCR? +
Accuracy depends on several factors, including screenshot quality, language, cropping, device type and Pokémon GO's interface changes. DataDitto has been tested across different devices and we keep working to improve the analysis quality. Please review your results after upload, and feedback is always welcome when something can be improved.
Can I delete my data? +
Yes. You can request account or data deletion at any time. For privacy questions or deletion requests, join the Discord channel.
Is DataDitto free? +
Yes. DataDitto is currently free to use. If this ever changes or paid features are added, we will communicate that clearly before anything affects your account.
Can I run a local community leaderboard? +
Yes. DataDitto is built for trainers and communities that want rankings without maintaining spreadsheets by hand. Players upload their own screenshots, and leaderboard data is built from the parsed profile stats. Ideas and suggestions for community features are always welcome.
